We have a design engineer position opening. This position will design or modify equipment and equipment components for agriculture equipment manufacturing.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

• Proficient in Inventor and AutoCAD 3D modeling software to design products and product modifications.
• Create costed bills of materials and routings in order to standardize parts and make ECN changes as needed.
• Develop specifications for purchased materials/fabricated components, solicit quotes, and select vendors.
• Produce design reports for projects identifying design processes, estimated costs, calculations, functional analyses and safety factors.
• Produce estimates and feasibility studies per customer requests.
• Meet deadlines.
• Provide technical engineering support to shop personnel and to modify/develop tooling for new designs.
• Travel to field test prototypes.
• Participate in team and project meetings.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Structural Engineering.
• 1+ experience in agricultural equipment or related industry.
• Proficient in Inventor and/or AutoCAD 3D modeling software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in the English language.
